Latest @ Aster Eye Care

The second centre of the Aster eye care has now commenced its services a Lajpat Nagar. The centre has been designed with the infrastructure similar to its flagship centre in Faridabad. One of the defining infrastructure modification at aster eye care is that, keeping in mind that patients mobility is reduced due to some vision impairment all the consultant rooms are designed as a complete, compact and comprehensive units. To provide a higher quality for surgical and medical intervention in Ophthalmology services, the centre has gone a step ahead in installing state of the art equipment's such as..

1) We have an automated refractor and a phoroptorfor greater accuracy and it also reduced the inter operator variability.

2) Our OCT and FFA machines are really top of the line and is the second installation in India and Asia. These two are on the same platform and the images can be superimposed on each other

3) ComputerisedLensmeter - CL 200

The TOPCON CL-200 Computerized Lensmeter provides fast and precise measurement of lenses. It is a new modern and compact design with color LCD display with improved speed of reacting on the glass movement.

4) Ophthalmometer - OM 4

The TOPCON OM-4 Ophthalmometer (Sutcliff Type) is a compactly designed and easy to use professional instrument providing precise objective measurements of the corneal radius of curvature of both cornea and contact lenses.

5) Optical Coherence Tomography (3D OCT-1000)

Combines Innovative OCT technology with & non-mydriatic retinal camera.

6) XLinkTMCorneal Cross-Linking System(C3R)

The TOPCON CL-200 Computerized Lensmeter provides fast and precise measurement of lenses. It is a new modern and compact design with color LCD display with improved speed of reacting on the glass movement.

7) Auto Chart Projector - PCP 06

Compact Plantech PCP-6 projector gives clear sharp projection quality to make visual acuity testing quicker and more accurate than ever before.

8) Applanation Tonometer

For the measurement of the ocular pressure is carried out on the patient sitting at the slit lamp in conjunction with other routine microscopic examinations. The Applanation Tonometer remains the most widely used instrument to measure interocular pressure. The "Goldmann" method allows IOP measurements to be taken with the patient at the slit lamp as part of a routine examination.

9) Advant YAG Laser Photodisruptor

Enhanced performance from the complete YAG laser
  • Widest range of adjustment for posterior and anterior offset - 500um - provides maximum flexibility of treatment and safety of operation.
  • Integrated 5 position magnification changer for enhanced capability of the slit lamp for treatment and diagnosis.
  • High performance laser system provides optical breakdown at low energy settings, ensuring higher safety and less side effects.
  • State-of-the-art integrated design with large display and all controls at reach of the physicians hands offer unparalleled ergonomics.
  • Precise dual spot aiming system for maximum focussing accuracy.
  • Very fast firing rate - 2.5Hz.
  • Externally mounted chin rest and integrated slit lamp with fingertip controls for patient & operator comfort.
  • Ergonomic joystick provides improved feel, positioning and responsiveness.
  • Smart modular design facilitates field servicing, resulting in reduced downtime and improved reliability.

AB Scan AB 6100

To produce a two-dimensional, cross-sectional view of the eye and the orbit. It is otherwise called brightness scan. The A-scan provides data on the length of the eye, which is a major determinant in common sight disorders. The most common use of the A-scan is to determine eye length for calculation of intraocular lens power.
